Feeding schedule question

Hi! I brought home a cute female lil veiled cham from the store yesterday with an awesome setup. I also got these adorable baby crickets as food (almost to cute to use as feed!) I fed her two crickets today, and she seems to be strolling around maybe looking for more? I couldnt find a feeding schedule for lil chams. she is around the size of my pinky, im unsure of the exact age.

also, i put coconut fiber substrate in her cage. i feed her in a seperate container so she doesnt eat the substrate. i did research on substrate and it seems to be very mixed reviews. id appreciate some advice in that regards from actual cham owners that know a little more then random website :).

She definitely needs more then two crickets. Babies will eat a ton, I'd say ten is a good solid number for her- but definitely feed her as much as she wants for now. For a chameleon the size of your pinky, I'd say no bigger then 3/8 inch crickets. I personally say no substate what so ever. Most here will agree it is unnecessary and just an accident waiting to happen. They also are major breeding grounds for bacteria. If you have issues keeping humidity up, just add more live plants. Be sure to cover the soil with size appropriate rocks (ones big enough that she can't eat)

Since I'm assuming you are new to chameleon keeping, how's your knowledge on gut loading your crickets, UVB lighting, and supplementation? I'm going to attach the care sheet for veileds. It's full of correct info that will help you out.
