My female Yemen is currently "with eggs" not fertile..just the chameleon equivalent of "that time of the month / year" .Well as i was cleaning out the Males cage.i placed him on a Ficus tree. nearby..but forgot that he would now have sight of the females cage..on the opposite side of the room..i left the room for a few minutes..when i returned..he had vanished! it didnt take me long to find him...he had abseiled down the tree..crossed the floor and was on his determined way in the direction of the female.........she by now had spotted him advancing...it took her only a few seconds to go from this.............
