Female panther eye stuff

Maybe you should try worms filled with water?

Here's a link to the little tool that will let you fill your worms with water:

http://www.basspro.com/Lindy-Worm-Blower/product/58678/49001

As you can see, cheap and available at Bait and Tackle shops...possibly your local Wal Mart.

Try her on a small larvae worm like wax, butter or pheonix....

but thats the thing.. shes just not interested in eating. no matter what i put in front of her lol its frustrating. the eye is getting better so we will see tomorow

Did you ever get her to the vets? What did the vet say?
Her head pads are sunken in (no surprise since she's not eating much) and she doesn't look well to me.

Have you had/do you have a place for her in the cage to dig to show you when she's ready to lay eggs?

Does she sit low in the cage?

What's in the bug burger in the way of D3 and vitamin A?

The vet said she should get vit A and felt her stomach and concluded she had no eggs right now. There is a laying bin. She sits more to the top of her cage. Her eyes are a little better today and a little more active but no food eaten.. ughh

Please help... She still hasent eaten. Today i gave more vit A and put in some saline. she was peachy and looked good. i held behind her head and put a hornworm to her mouth and she bit it and drank some juices but wouldnt swallow the worm.. I think its parasites or an eye infection.. how do i know though?? and how do i fix it? someone must know :(

Ok.. now I really need advise. Should I treat her for infection? (eye, mouth?) or treat her for parasites? (shes not pooping because shes not eating, so no fecal anytime soon) or does anyone her think she may still have eggs from that belly picture? how fast could the eggs develop? would I be able to feel them?

Does she look pregnant??? and she pooped today; it was really grey and it was jelly like. urate really yellow. shes starting to dehydrate.... Please try to help me..

You could try showers to hydrate her?
Her eyes look swollen at the front which it seems a few of us are experiencing at the moment!
Try the vet again and ask for antibiotic/steroid drops.

Sterilise everything in her cage.

What are her temps?

I'm just telling u what I experienced and what I did for simba as per vets advice and advice on here.

Hope it helps.

Keep us posted. Xxx

gave her a shower and on tuesday i will sterilize everything. i am also going to put a feeding cup back in so i can monitor if she is or isn't eating. i got a worm in her mouth tho and i dont think she spit it out. and i made sure she didnt choke!! but i have a fecal now and i am going to have my mom bring the fecal in (and the fecal from my other two chams) to the vet to check for parasites. and i will see shat i can get from the vet as far as antibiotics. thank you for the help. she looks better after shower and a little food

In another post you mentioned her having a dark color when you showed her to the male. It wouldn't surprise me if she has been making eggs. I only hope she is not eggbound.

I have been showing them to eachother. But when I took her to the vet he felt her belly and said there wasn't eggs. And i've placed her in her sand box many times only to have her crawl to the vine n get out. I even covered her cage and started a hole. is it possible for there to be eggs and not feel them? and if there could be, would they be ready to lay yet??

Thank you for responding by the way, i just want to know whats wrong with her. I turned all my chameleon's fecals in to get tested as well.

Update

So Mary is still closing/cleaning her eyes most of the day but it seems slightly better. I THINK I saw her eat a cricket on her own today but other than that the only food she has been getting is what i put in her mouth, where she bites down thinking its me but continues to chew and then swallow. iv tried putting her in the sand box with privacy and a started whole and everything a few times. the vet told me to give her vit a and we tried that. then he perscribed an antibiotic but that treatment is over and she isnt better. Me ANd the vet are running out of ideas and dont know what else to do..

Ok. I took her in the sun today. Thats these pictures:

When i was bringing her in she rubbed her eye on me and it had some clear secretion that came out. a few little bits of it. Is that normal?
Then i took her and put her in her cage and she started rubbing her eye on a branch. Thats wen i took these:

She has an eye infection.

A vet will need to draw some fluid and test to see what bacteria is causing this mess and treat accordingly. nothing you will be able to do to without a vets help/
