Fenix (6/20/12 - 01/07/13)

Oh, MAx, I am so sorry to hear about your beautiful Fenix! One of my favorite things on here is seeing the pictures of your boys. Walker has such pretty blues, but I always loved all of the different flecks of color around his eyes. Such a handsome guy. He couldn't have had a better home or life. I hate to hear of this happeneing. RIP Fenix.
 
So very sorry for your loss! The unexpected loss is worse then the expected. May you find peace in your memories. Your passion for your pets is inspiring to many, don't let go of that.
 
Max,I'm extremely sorry for your loss.I too was a big fan of your pics of Fenix & Walker.I never got tired of seeing them.Your in my thoughts & just remember that he was very much loved & I'm sure he knew this too.He will always be remembered
 
I'm so sorry for your loss i so didn't want this to be true. Fenix was sure a good looking cham and will be greatly missed. Our hearts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. :(

Oh Max I am so so sorry to hear about little Fenix :( How horrible for you! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts today buddy. May the great chameleon gods in the sky come down and collect his little soul and deliver him to chameleon heaven where the bugs are slow and fat xxx
 
Max I couldn't believe it as I read the caption....
I am soooo sorry about what has happened! I know how much you love and care for your guys, some things are just out of our control. This doesn't make it any easier,, just know that you gave him the best, he was a happy, healthy boy!

Max so sorry to hear this. What a terrbile thing to have to witness. My heart goes out to you. I am glad his death has not weakened your spirit and you will continue on with chameleon keeping. His life was short, but it was a good one with you. RIP Fenix.

Friendships with Fenix are forever.. He will find his way back to you.

This is why I keep coming back to you guys and dolls. What would I do without my boys and y'all?? This is the greatest community that I've ever been apart of. Love you guys! Thank you so much for your thoughts and support.

P.s. I spent a few minutes with Walker yesterday and we had a talk. I know he doesn't understand (or cares, really), but I felt better after getting it out. He'll just get a lil more attention for now. ;)
 
I don't know how I missed this thread! I am so so sorry to hear this. I know you must be just heart broken. Fenix will truly be missed.
 
I can't believe I didn't see this until now. I am so sorry Max.

I hope you can take some comfort in our shared grief over Fenix. This community is really special, kind of like a family. I don't have to look any further for proof than within myself when something like this happens, as I truly hurt for you and Fenix.

Fenix was an amazing cham and you are obviously a good guy and great keeper. I am glad to hear that you will continue to be a part of this forum and continue to be a dad to some lucky chameleons.

Thanks, Rachelle. You were the only member besides Biffle, his breeder, to see Fenix in person. You were indeed in small company. :)

Eric, very kind words. Thank you! You don't know how true that statement is about being a really special community! You wouldn't believe how many breeders have contacted me with unbelievable deals and propositions.

All I have to say about that is keep your eyes posted. You might see another "guess what I'm getting" thread soon. Really soon... ;)
 
R.I.P Fenix

Oh wow as I read this thread my heart breaks with sadness its amasing how a community can all be affected . now everytime the name Fenix comes to mind or is spoken out loud I am sure we will all pause and take a moment to think of this thread and in that moment we will try not to think of the sadness but we will remember all the posts over the last 7 months and how we all got to watch him grow up and become the handsome boy that he was before he passed. from my family (humans and Reptiles) to yours Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of sadness. may your happiest memories with Fenix Be with you in this time.
