i finally got my first cage off of Craigslist , kind of dusty thou, does anyone know how to clean it?

Use diluted bleach and make sure you rinse it really well

good old fashioned soap and water should do the trick. you might also want to disinfect it with a dilute bleach solution, or if you can get ahold of it, chlorohexidine, aka nolvasan.

i always use hott water and vinegar to clean all my cham stuff it works great and for the most part harmless

Yes vinegar works great for unclogging the mist nozzles if you have a misting system also. Plain white vinegar. And it is a very addicting hobby! Lol enjoy

I agreed completely, that is what 99% of us use.

If you can't find the reptisun, reptiglo is the next best thing.

My pet stores here didn't have reptisun so I had to settle for reptiglo

yes i use the reptglow if i cant get the reptisun i just replace them more often than the reptisun 6m instead of 8m

I use a combo of both for my cages. lllreptile and pet stows sell the bendable vines. I use those and branches from outside. I wash the branches with soap and hot water. Some people bake them in the oven to sanitize. If your collecting them from a place that is pesticide free then soap and water is sufficient IMHO. I use flower arrangement wire from craft store to attach the vines to the screen, it fits right through and holds up nicely. Some people use zip ties.
