Well I think I am finally ready for my first cham. I just want to go over the list of stuff one more time I have a smaller screen set up from lllreptiles I think its 16x16x16 something like that( prob not at all) 15 inch hood lamp with a repti sun 5.0 uvb bulb. a dripper, my humidity gauge, live plants, a 100 watt basking lamp, mister, sticky indoor and outdoor tongue formula, and I think that is it. I have done my research and I feel pretty confidant in keeping one of these animals. One more thing, would all you blue bar ambilobe panther keepers post some pics on here? I am now on the hunt for the right sire and I just want to know peoples experiences finding the right one.

you probably wont need a 100 watt basking lamp, i have a 40 watt and it works perfect. Also make sure you have calcium wo/d3 and w/d3 other than that goodluck!

Good luck with your search. I think thats one of the most exciting things. Getting to pick out a baby. You ought to look in the classifieds on this site. Lance has some spectacular looking red bar amibilobes for sale. His sire Hellboy is absolutely stunning. :)

yea I realized that after my plants kept drying out and the cage had no humidity in it lol thanks though I woulda been in trouble.

Congrats! :D Aww looking for that one perfect panther for you is the best thing. I've spent months looking sometimes and it's so exciting to open the shipping box and get something even prettier than what you expected.

I just uploaded some photos of my gang yesterday, including pics of my BB ambilobe: https://www.chameleonforums.com/lots-pics-chameleon-ily-47997/#post449400 He's been turning more and more yellow now as he continues to grow, and he's gorgeous. His sire was Plasma from Sunshine Chameleons, but they've stopped breeding unfortunately. One of the breeders still has eggs hatching though, and he's user Picasso on here.

plus the the people there are very helpful, they made sure I had everything running and up the way it should be before they would ship him out.

To be commended!

Screameleons should be commended for that... making sure you have everything you should right before they ship your Cham... I know they also have an "online 5 day learning email" you can sign up for it has lots of useful info so you might want to do that if you didn't when you ordered. You can subscribe from thier home page I believe... then everyday for 5 dqays they'll send you an email with Cham info.... Good luck to you! :p

Sorry i noticed that for your supplements you didnt have a vitamin supplement, im sure you got it with your other supplements. If you didnt then you should go get one :D

Well IZ showerd up today ( I decided to name him IZ after teh guy who sigs over the rainbow, since he will hopefully look like a rainbow =] corny I know) BUt he looks great. when I popped off his lid he booked it up my arm an on to my shoulder. I couldn't get him to climb off me into the cage lol. One thing I was not happy about though is when the fed ex lady showed up she was carrying his box completely side ways, the box even says perishable, face up in huge bold red letters! HOW HARD CAN IT BE!. Thankfully he is alright and very active. Ill post pics as soon as he is visible from the plants.
