Finally!!!

Wow, 9 months, did you get him as a baby? Congrats! I'm currently working with a new guy now, and so far he has been very trusting.
 
Nice! Yesterday I put some small dubias in my hand and they started to scurry around. My new guy swiped 2 of them before he got a little shy and headed for the hills...lol
 
Congrats! You will be amazed at how quickly he will learn that those hands bring yummy treats, and he will really come out of his shell!
 
I'm going to start to try hand feeding next month or two with my little Veiled. Got him on the 1st of this month and he is just getting to the point of not scurrying away to hide when I approach the cage. Very shy and defensive. I was trying to clean some poop off a pothos leaf and didn't realize he was in the plant and heard a hiss and felt him lunge at me.

I have had success recently with him grabbing feeders from a cup while holding it in my hand. Small steps toward a larger goal!

Here's some pics I just took of him. He got a little puffy with me taking picks lol then went and ate some crickets. How's he look? I haven't weighed him or measured him but he looks about 12-13 inches long.
