I also have my special little Kirby if you need examples of minor mbd and bad care.
Pic that made me adopt him. Way too thin, missing toes. Weighed only 35 Gms.

One year after. Up to over 55 Gms, keeping the rest of his toes and needs special care when feeding due to jaw misalignment.

Wow good job! I bought my leopard gecko from petco before knowing all reptiles purchased from there were not in the best condition and she has a missing tail that grew back. She is also very skiddish and doesnt like people but whatever, your enclosures look very nice! im going to add a few more enrichment items to my enclosue beacasue i dont really have anything besides the neccesities

I obtained all of my leos from CraigsList and all 3 were being kept poorly, but I wasn’t sure Kirby would even survive as he was really in bad shape. Poor little guy. Tandy has a replacement tail. I had to look it up why it looked so different.

Hey thatcher heres a topic that you should look into. Interbreeding reptiles. Had a long conversation with the vet and they are really seeing health problems with bearded dragons and they are assuming since chams have gotten so popular that its happening with them since wild caught are not as popular as breeding. What they are seeing is underweight small beardies many with underdeveloped lungs plus a whole host of other oddities with skin and eyes. Its just a taught but someone should address this.
