first chameleon. i dont know much

Should I feed roaches and hornworms to my chameleon at this young?
You can get really tiny roaches so they are not a problem. You can also get really tiny hornworms. Hornworms should not be a staple though as they are mainly water. Lindasgonebuggy.com sells them really small. Just keep in mind that they grow really really fast. I keep mine on a 2 days out 1 day in the fridge schedule to slow them a bit.

I Couldn't find roaches on that site but I found everything else that was perfect. But how are the black soldier fly larvae?

I love black soldier fly larvae for smaller reptiles and young ones in general, it can be a bit harder to get larger adult chameleons to eat them. The provide tons of natural calcium, but also if the larvae hatch into flies when you have them, literally just open the container in the cage and the flies will fly out. It's an amazing dual purpose feeder because the larvae are great and healthy, and the flies are easy to pupate and make great fun for your chameleon and often can break hunger strikes ^^

that is great! i got some more photos

Boy, you have already received lot of help! And you have acted on it! Wow, I see (in pictures and in comments) much improvement already! So earlier in the more bare cage, I saw a vase with screen over it on the right side of the cage on the bottom. And I think you explained it at something to catch up water. Now for my question, on the left side in the back, protruding from the bottom. There is a tube that looks to have a lumen of about two inches wide. It is covered with a sky blue lid thing. It looks like there is some dark stuff in it. It sort of reminds me of a bird feeder. What is this?

Thanks for putting up with all of our probing questions! I promise, we are just trying to help! Hang in there! It gets easier!

Yes, that was actually the tube thing I was talking about, the thing with the blue top. What is that?

That is just a vase with vines in it to blend in and the blue thing has worms and crickets in it. I couldn't find another way to get that food bowl up there
