First Furcifer Lateralis eggs

What a thrilling start to 2024. Kemba surprised me this morning with some eggs on the enclosure floor. This is her first clutch. I did try to place her in an egg laying bin 2 days ago but couldn't stand secretly watching her desperately wanting out.
Fingers crossed for the next 7 to 9 months to see what happens.

Congratulations! How many eggs did she lay?

This species often makes no attempt to try to bury eggs and may simply scatter the eggs on the bottom of cage….so I’m not surprised that she didn’t bury them. I don’t think anyone knows why this happens.

She laid six eggs and now is eating a monster so I'm hoping she is done.
