First shower

well I finly got sarge into the shower and he was hiding the whole time. He was at the top till I drought him in. shower was cut short cuz water got to cold even on hot you would think I have hot water for days I do live in Phoenix Az lol but don't any ways here he is

Yeah I have the cold water issue before my chameleons are ready to be done too XD And don't worry if he seems a little bit less than enthusiastic about it XD they tend to be the first few times. Ryker (my panther) didn't like showers right away, now he loves them and it's the best way to get water into him in one sitting. I can easily get him to drink for a straight 30 minutes if my water complies XD. My montane species, mostly different types of jacksons, who have wandered in and out (one who is still here), have always love showers straight from the get go.

He kidna darted to the water coming out of the shower this time. Two ten min sessions 15 mins apart good ?

And he don't want to come out so I leave him or try to get him back to his house ? I just left the door open with the outside hibiscus next to it he came out and I held my hand there for him to transfer but he didn't so I held hi till the water was worm then put him in but I do not know how I will get him back I'm his home

Definitely good for a first time ^^ most don't last 5 minutes the first time. I would put him back, I wouldn't let him stay in cold water. It can get awfully cold. Eventually he will get to the point of actively drinking. And you will likely be able to leave him alone, set a timer and just check the water when you go in.

Ok thank you I never leave him when he's out but this was only the second time I've let him out do to kids and a dog and I've only had him almost two months so thought a shower was needed been trying to shed for two weeks he like to be out in the sun so I took him out there after shower he climbed on my head and didn't want to go back in is cage so I had to put my head in it lol but he in now how offten should the shower come in to play when shedding and or not shedding

He will likely do better when you are gone and not hovering, chameleons are much better with the whole drinking thing when not being watched XD
