I honestly don’t know what to tell you to do. One of my girls dug a little down and then straight across and her tunnel collapsed. I risked it and completely unburied her. She went to her branch for the rest of the day and went back to digging the next day and laid her eggs. If it were me, I’d at least open up a little as close to her without disturbing her as possible...if that can be done. Maybe even use a small branch to make a little hole. I don’t know if it’s the right thing to do or not...it’s just what I would do.
