Foliage Removal

Hey guys, I was thinking about removing some of the fake plantsfrom Pablo's cage to make him more visible and provide less hiding spots in order to make him get used to me, because now it is impossible, he can't even see me that he runs towards the back of the cage and hides in the vines, it is really frustrating.

I would recomend that as well. (Remove) I think I mentioned in one of your other posts how to much coverage will cause your cham to do exactly what youv mentioned. No need for all that. Just a few spots and branches/levels to thermo regulate.

How long have you had your chameleon? It'll take time (sometimes a long time) for it to become comfortable with you being around. I think your cage currently is great. It give the chameleon place to go if it feels nervous, which keeps stress low. Eventually they realize just because you are walking by, it doesn't mean they need to hide.

My veiled hid from me for weeks after I moved him to his new enclosure. Now, every day he is usually perched in his basking spot or on top of his tree and doesn't run or hid when I approach.

Looks great! If you want, check out my cage set up albume. I only use fake plants for now, haven't graduated into using live plants quite yet. I love the creativity you can use with artificial plants! Seeing your setup makes me think a little bit of both is probably the best way to go!
