forest moss?

There is forest moss growing in my backyard. Is it safe to put some in my chams cage? Can I put it on the walls of my cage?

Just remember anything you put in your cage may get eaten intentionally or accidentally(when shooting for prey). I am not sure what forest moss looks like but if it is stringy, I would be careful of a potential choking hazard. Also, I don't know if it is toxic. I would do some research on that.
