Foretaz VS Baytril - should I change my med?

Some of you have been following the health of my sick little Cham Gail - there are some good changes, and some that are looking worse - the good changes are, she has not thrown up this Am, it seems every 3 days she throws up everything and has a huge bm that smell really bad, she is from 1.2 to 1.6 oz - and she is still hanging in there - the bad...her breathing seems more raspy, she is getting weak - her grip is still strong, but I can tell the breathing is worse - she now "gasp" for breath, but she did not start this until I started to shower her- should I stop the showers? it just seems the steam is making it worse , and I kinda wondered about doing this- she HATES water , so I only sit in the bathroom and let it fill w/ steam, I dont put her in the tub and let the water bounce off the wall, any water that touches her makes her go flinging off her branches, so I only mist the cage, not her.
She has been on Baytril (sp) for 8.5 days @.03 cc - but she is not getting any better on this - how long do I give this to work ? my vet is now back in town, so I can get Foretaz - but should I change her or give this more time? I am soooo confused and only want to do what is best for her - can someone who has had a Cham on Foretaz let me know how it did for you?

Take her you your vet and have him make a decision on her treatment. I would recommend a culture but it may be skewed due to already being on an antibiotic.
