Free Range Pictures

Hey everyone! Sinatra loves being out of his enclosure so I was wondering if I could see pictures of how you all have your free ranges set up. I did a search and came up with a ton of posts but not a lot of pictures. I figured there are so many of you that do indoor free ranges that you would all have pictures. We would want something that is aesthetically pleasing, so not a bunch of wires all over, etc. And something that can be in a corner, not going around the entire room. But at the same time, all pictures would be great because that's the best way to get ideas, in my opinion.

If you guys could share some pictures, that would be great. Thanks!

i was thinking about building an enclosure made out of hardware cloth with 1 or 2 sides
open so i may tether horizontal oak branches with zip ties throught the cage but it will
be open so the cham would not feel restricted (especially if you make it big and bushy of foliage)

hopefully other people will chime in

My experience with my panther is, he is curious and seems to wonder off. You could always set up a "limb gym" for him to exercise on in the afternoon/evening when you get home from work. I have a large tree limb from the floor to the ceiling with lots of limbs and Rocko loves it. Or you could suspend a limb from the ceiling. I don't have to set up lights or drips as he had all that during the day. I usually let him fall asleep there and put him up in the morning. :)

Thanks, Jann, I had seen those posts but I was hoping to get more pictures. I feel like so many people talk about free ranging their chams but I never really see pictures.

We were talking about it last night and were trying to think of a way to maybe have him not be JUST free range, still have Sinatra use his cage to sleep in and stuff. Plus the misting/drip would definitely be tough because it will make such a huge mess. We have a fake tree in the corner of the room that we put him on a lot, it's just tough to get enough light over there so that he doesn't think it's bed time.

I was thinking about this, but in the end just build a massive enclosure! Best of both worlds!

That might help, but it might not! It's 3' x 4' x 8'.

I'm going to move into an apartment with two separate screened balconies, so I'm just going to turn one into a massive "outdoor" cage. I'll buy lots of plants, vines, and branches and let my chameleons sit out there when the weather permits. I don't move in until the end of July, so I don't have any photos but I will post some when I set that up.

I know that some people use extra bathrooms are chameleon rooms. Because you can mist them in the shower so there is no water mess, but the rest of the room is easily cleanable too. Just cover it in plants and branches! That's a great idea if you have something like that in your home.
