Friendly Chams?

I would have bloody lips if I tried to kiss my male panther. I used to wonder if it was me because I heard they are generally nice. It just depends on the personaity. Ive grown to like his pissyness. It shows his true wild instincts.

I have 42 adult panthers and 90% of them are calm and can be handled without any problem. Gravid females and patients can be grumpy so they are best left alone except for medications.Bottom line is they call the shots. Never force interactions with them. There is a big difference with a shy chameleon like a quadricornis that hides and an aggressive chameleon like a veiled that hisses and bites at you. I have worked with about 25 species of chameleons and have only been bitten by veileds. They were my fault everytime!
