gender??

Seconds picture looks like a male but it might be just the angle of the picture.
try to get closer pictures of the vent(where the tail meets with the body)

First reptile, and u chose a chameleon :D

You have a lot of reading to do, and this forum is the best to get ALL the information you need! (about supplies, habitat, behavior etc)

Btw, looks like a female to me, but i could be wrong.. maybe a few more photos could help..;)

Alkis Pieris - haha!...yes I love them!...and I have done a lot of research and have a friend that has been helping me out with everything...she has had a few chameleons
...as far as getting closer pictures...this last one is about as close as I can get because my camera doesnt have insane zooming and he/she is afraid of it...I just got him thursday so he is still getting used to everything...sunday was the first day we saw him eat...and just a few minutes ago when I took this last picture was the first time he actually walked on my finger...but he got off in like a few seconds...another question...is there a trick to making them comfortable with you?

yeah he doesnt look crazy about the camera, when they get black it means fear/stress/anger... i meant zoom, but ok, since ur phone cant zoom any more..;)
A "trick" to get them to like u... not really.. they just need their time to get used first to the new environment/habitat, and then to the owner.. Panthers are usually easy when u got the proper knowledge, so.. good luck, and welcome to the chameleon world.. :D

how are you guys looking at the bulge...cause to me it looks like it has one..and around its eyes are some red and blue...so i assumed that would mean its a male...or am i totally wrong?
