Getting him to expand his palate

So George is about 2 years. Tried a new powder on his crickets by T-Rex that was specifically for chameleons. He wasn't impressed. Knowing how fussy they can be about new things I tried again the next day. Now he will rarely eat crickets or anything but Hornworms. Never liked supers or mealworms and halfway through the $7 cup of 10 butterworms he decided that sucked to. I need to fatten him up since he stops or slows down eating when the weird bubble in front of his eye fills up with fluid and prevents him from seeing forward in the left eye (last time I drained .35 ml from it!). Vet thinks it's shed blocking the tear duct but after 5 months it's finally gone down from what must be bursting levels to a minor lump on it's own. Horay I don't have to drain it this weekend! So what do you guys do to entice them when they're being fussy?

I mix feeders in a cup... Few dubia with the crickets and he will probably take some dubia by mistake.
A healthy adult cham can go without food for days easy so you could then consider offering him a feeder he doesn't like for a few days and hope he gets hungry enough to start eating it.

Lastly you can try to tell him to eat his meal or else no dessert! This works especially well with my daughter.

I'm having the same dilemma, my Cham is on cricket strike ever since I fed him wax worms. I'm waiting on my silks to come in and try those if that doesn't work I guess I'll try dubias. the older my Cham gets it seems the pickier he is about his feeders.
