Getting pretty confused on lighting options

Hey I'm sure there is already a thread about this but I couldn't locate it. I'm currently building a new cage(4'l by 2'6"w by 6'h for my veiled, it will consist of all live plants, my question is how much light is going to be too much and what bulbs are the best.
My plan is as follows:
UVB-repti glo 5.0 48"
Plant light- T5 HO 48"
Basking- 1exo terra 150w and 1 exo terra 75w on the other side

I have herd of Arcadia but not sure what is going to be best

You don't need a 150w. What temperature is your house? You will likely only need a 50-75 watt basing bulb to achieve the best temperatures. Also, you won't need that plant light, the UVB reptiglo will work in the same way. But the plant light does not do the right thing for the reptiles, so you do need the reptiglo either way, with or without plant light.

The temp in my house is 71. And thank you about the plant light that will save some cash. And that has sorted out my lighting now to purchase a mist king and figure out how many nozzels I need haha

Speak with Todd over at lightyourreptiles.com. He's also a sponsor on the site here.

I am building a bigger enclosure than yours currently and Todd was not only a fantastic source of information on current lights out there but made sure I had the right system I needed for such a huge set up. I've got hundreds of dollars invested in plants and the overall set up but all of that is wasted without a solid and well thought out light system.

I picked up the 48" Tropic Blaze Quad system from him, great customer service. Multiple e-mails back and forth and in the end the packaging was great too. Now I just need to finish it this weekend and get ready for the new arrival.................:D

EXCELLENT thank you I will be checking it out right now
I second OldChamKeepers endorsement of Light Your Reptiles. I have Todd's quad lights as well, and they are great. You do need a plant light, which the quad fixtures come with.

Ya he has some amazing lights just all out of stock for the one I want lol. Going to pick up my mistking with 4 single nozzels and 2 doubles. It took me two days to build the enclosure. I have 2 small fans that are going to be mounted in the walls that will be bringing in purified air from outside. Still lots of work to do before I start on the hard part(decorating) as I am never happy and always want better lol. I can visualize how I want it but just never works out lol

Call tod at lightyoureptiles tell him u want a 24 " t5 ho double fixture with 6%uvb and 6.5k daylight bulb and your set with uvb
As far as basking goes get a 100 watt indor outdoor plant flood light bulb put it on back right corner with 9 inches of space from braanch and screen top and yor set

From the picture it looks like you have the incandescent bulb inside the enclosure where your chameleon can get very close to the bulb. That seems like an opportunity for a burn.

Yeah, I'd be very careful with that, make sure there are no climbing purchases anywhere within a few inches of the light, at least just outside of his grasp.

Ya I had a brain fart there it will be getting moved to the top once my expanded metal top is finished. I got to also get a few more lights my house temp is 72F but lowest branch if 64F just can't achieve a good 72F at the bottom. I have a 48" repti sun 5.0 T8 on order for some good uvb. Currently I am using a 48" reptiglow 10.0. Figured I'd use the 10.0 in this brand as I have read hundreds of debates on saying this brand(reptiglo) is cheaply built and does not emmitt the amount of uvb consistently. Nor as strong. I also have 2 5000K natural light 48" flouesent tubes for more light and for my plants. I'm concerned I don't have enough coverage for this little man (6 month old male veiled)
