Got bitten

I got Ripley a new huge enclosure. She was on her tree while I was arranging things inside. And when I wanted to pick her up to move her in her new home, she bit me! It was actually quite sore! That was the 1st time she properly bit me. My partner said he won't handle her anymore ha what a fanny

Can't wait till Bishop grows up. I'm sure his bites will be even more painful.
I don't really have any point to this thread, just wanted to complain.

that can cause more damage, to both of you.


trust me, weve seen it.

like torn skin, potential stitches, lots of blood.

Thanks, I don't.
I trained myself not to make rapid movements around them at all. I just waited till she was finished with biting me, and picked her up anyway.
She seems quite happy in her new enclosure though

Typhoon my veiled hasn't bit me yet but izzy my bearded dragon has I had a meal worm in my hand when she was little and still getting used to me lol didn't hurt to bad but now she's huge it would hurt allot more for her to get me now.

juju, as I said, can't wait till my veiled boy grows up ha! He is quite mischievous already

lysinlight87, oh yeah she's doing very good! Eating like a pig, climbing a lot

andred82vert, yeah she did (hissing, puffing up, aggressive colors), but I had to hold her, otherwise she'd have fallen. She was fine 30 sec after though, like it didn't happen. Became blue and orange again
