Grand Opening

Who is going to the grand re-opening of the San Francisco Academy of Sciences? http://www.calacademy.org/ They got chameleons and other reptiles. Also, a 4 story tropical rainforest greenhouse. I'm not sure if the chams are running loose in the greenhouse. But that would be a challenge because they have parrots flying around in there.

I plan on going on a day that is not crowded. Maybe Monday or Tuesday. Never go on a free day if you are traveling far away. It is waaayyy too crowded and not worth it.

monday is a good day to go. make sure you go at a time when everyone is at school.

Not yet. I think I will wait until the middle of October. I want to make sure it isn't too crowded. I've been looking at peoples vids from youtube and pics from flickr. It's awesome. It is supposed to be one of the most technologically advanced museums in the world for it's size.

si, i just flew back yesterday at about LATE AT NIGHT. i went on monday, and it was not too crowded. well at least there werent many kids there. Holy jesus was it amazing. the building was soooo cool, and all of the exhibits were amazing.

hmm a parrot you say, pisticadae order.. not a meat eater.. so i don't think they'd have to worry to much about interaction, the parrot wouldn't go seeking the chameleon, and im sure the chameleon would do his best to sink away somewere.

although i'd love to be able to see it.
