I rarely see foam when egg pods are laid in the soil. When my Lazy Lilly Lays outside of the lay bin, I always see foam.

You might see the hopper with the ovipostior in the soil or you will see a bunch of holes in the soil.

My grasshoppers need laying advice! They don't seem to understand how to use their ovipostior to dig a hole in which they are to lay eggs! Why did Lazy Lilly Lay her eggs on the food source? The Nitens are getting closer to the lay bin! Maybe they'll get it right on the 5th try!

Yup! I don't have baby hoppers yet. I've been sick for 6 weeks so they have been neglected.

Nitens just laid eggs a few weeks ago. Lineata laid eggs in February. I need to get the eggs under heat.
