Hey everyone! I just bought this Ambanja Panther Chameleon female from Atlanta Repticon last week. The guy I got her from said she laid one clutch for him and that she is wild caught. I cant tell if she is still gravid or not but when I let her see my male she rejected him. I attached a picture of her colors could I get some info to see if you guys think she is gravid or not she shows these slight back strips all day and night. By the way her name is Chloe!

She def looks plump enough to have eggs. And she is showing peachy colors that are common to gravid panther females. However, when did she lay that last clutch? With females being able to retain sperm from one mating, there is always the possibility that she could lay another a few months after the first. Do you have a laying bin for her? Is she acting restless?

If I remember correctly he said it was a few weeks before the show which was last weekend.... I just put her laying bin in today it is filled with a 1/2 and 1/2 mixture of Repti sand and Eco earth.... She was been eating normal she climbs around a bit but I dont think you would call it restless... she has been eating around 10 to 12 middim crickets every other day I dust them when that Raspsy stuff with a little added repti calcium w/o d3

There is a good possibility that she has another clutch on the way, but it could be a couple of months until that happens. Regardless, leave that bin in there for her, and keep an eye on her. She could be acclimating to her new home, and be a little nervous! She is very very pretty, though, I am quite jealous of your find! :)

Thank you Thank you! we thought it was a great deal because she was so beautiful any he gave me a deal because I seemed so knowledgeable about chameleons 225 for her and her cage! (= and she is very active and a fast climber!!! I do hope she lays another clutch Im supper excited I already order some hatch rit just in case! (=
