Habba Mister Reviews????

Hey guys, ive been hearing lots of controversy on whether or not to buy the Habba Mister. I've seen some review videos and i have a few questions. So far all the info ive gathered on the Habba mister is that there are two "nozzles". One is part of the habba mister and the other is attached by a hose. I also know about how to control it all. My questions to you is your opinion of the habba mister. i have heard they break down easily, sometimes leak, and eventually start to squirt water instead of spray it. Does anyone have any good reviews? i have only heard of one person who likes their habba mister. Do all habba misters only squirt water? I also would like to know what kind of battery the habba mister uses and how to replace/ recharge that battery once it is depleted. Thanks for your help guys,

i have had two of these brand new right off the shelf and i hate them they squirt water and it is more of a stream then a mist. also they dont mist long enough to get stubern chams to drink. save your money and buy a mist king it is well worth it.:D

I have one. It works fine but i want more options so when it breaks down as i have read it probably will i think i will get a mist king. Mine mists also not just sprays (iiif i use just the hose!! Not both nozzles!) It doesn't run both well at the same time. Or at least mine doesn't. but it took me a while to get it set to just mist. It does not take batteries it has a wall adapter. Otherwise tho iv had no problems with leaking ect. Iv been using it for two months only.

Stay away. I got one with my chameleon and it's so loud that it wakes me up in the morning. It's not even a mister...more of a dripper if anything. The Habba has a good timer, but that's about it. The hoses are too short and the reservoir is a little on the small side. Also, I haven't found any spare parts like better nozzles or longer tubes. I haven't completely given up on it bc I want to try and mod it sometime soon.

I got the Habba Mist with my cham - first, it is LOUD (which you might not notice until you get a Mist King), secondly - the "mist" is more of a squirt, maybe with a trickle/spit (also, once upgrading to the Mist King, you notice how terrible the Habba Mist is) lastly as also mentioned, the max duration of 1 "misting" session is 60 secs on the Habba Mist - my guy is still running around in a tizzy trying to figure out where the water is coming from, not thinking about drinking in 60 secs! Mine quit working properly after 3 weeks, so I would have it set, even check it in the morning ot make sure it was working...get home from work and find my cage bone dry, orange urate and the Habba Mist just as full of water as when I left! So...you can buy the Habba Mist, but be warned - I have my Mist King and it is the BEST $180 bucks I have spent on Claude, it works fantastically, was super easy to set up (although it looks scary at first, especially when the stuff is not in front of you!) I never have to worry that he will have his mistings on time! Just some friendly advice from a newbie who spent $500 bucks on the pre-set up cham package and have upgraded most of it in 2 months! Save the extra cash and start off right! lol

i have never tried the habba mist but have 2 mistking systems running and love them..
marty has always been great to me, and they are a site sponsor

I am a new cham owner and I purchased the habba mist with my cham, I had to mister about 2 days before I returned it and bought the mist king, best decision ever.

1. The habba mister doesnt even mist, its more like a small squirt gun,
2. It leaked from the day i got it.
3. Ran out of water in less than a day.
4. Noisy

If your gonna spend the money on a chameleon and a proper set up you might as well get a good misting machine. After all isnt that one of the most important parts?

My squirts water in a stream and made a mess. I just hand mist him every 3hrs between lights on and lights off. I have a mist king sitting waiting to get online once I have enough free time.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

well there you have it one in six people dont seem to have a problem with them its kind like playing Russian roulette but your hoping to get the one that works... lol

I have one more question about the Habba Mist just for clarification. Is it noisy all the time, or just when it's actually misting (or squirting, lol)?

Only when it is spraying. Notice I said spraying not misting, lol. It is silent the rest of the time.
As far as the batteries go, I have never used that option. It does have that capability, just never needed it and why would you? Power outage?
I find this item works well for watering my plants. I have ended up using this for past 2 months and I still hand spray 4 times a day.
I still use it because I spent $60 on it and I want to see how long it lasts. Then I will invest.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE HABBA MISTER!!! The mister costs about $65/$75 it not worth $10. I recently was going through the trouble you are now. I decided I needed a misting system for my Cham incase I wasnt home to water him. I did my research and you best value for quality and price is the MistKing. You can get the starter kit for about $110 with shipping. Yes it is not cheap and costs more than the HABBA but it's only about $50 at the most, and this is a professional misting system. The quality is out standing and if you only have one Cham you can get away with only one nozzle. But the starter kit can run up to 10. So you can buy the start kit and keep expanding on to it. If you buy the HABBA I will ensure you that you will end up buying the MistKing anyway because that HABBA is a piece of junk. So then you would have wasted $65 when you could have spent $110 to start off with and in the long run saved money. It's better to just but it from the start I love mine and it works great and very reliable. I bought mine from mist depot.com the starter kit was not listed but u can email mike and he ships from the US and you get it in like 2 or 3 days.
