Had him out today to check him lots of pics!

I got the panther out today to check him. Looks ok to my amature eye. Also gave me a good chance to grab some photos of him. So what do you guys think is "he" definatly a he??? What do you think of his colourings I bought it as an ambilobe do you think it will be red or blue bar or just wait and see??? Do you think it has some good colour for its size???

Your little guy looks good! I like how he walks around with his tail in the air! I would say he is a definite he. One of the easiest ways to tell outside of the tail bulge on an animal this size is the general body coloration. Males tend to be much more to the grey side before the color up where the females will generally have a peach - orange - brownish color. As for red bar or blue bar it is really difficult to tell at this age. If you had a picture of his sire that may give you a general idea.

That kind of hurts my feelings. I only ask because I care about the well being of the chameleon. That enclosure could actually work well for a few months (if set up correctly) before moving the cham into an all screen enclosure.
