Hammy and Ivy Baby Thread

We renamed Ringo to Sarge because Mom liked it better. He and Rosie are doing fine. A little fiesty since I haven't been able to handle them much lately. They both like to eat the pothos leaves from time to time. Mostly feeder crickets though. Rosie prefers to remain in her habitat. Sarge will come out for photo ops or maybe a chance to escape!

When your hand feeding to build trust and you do too well of a job... your hands now mean food even if there is not food in them lol. He does this now every time I open the enclosure. He automatically thinks that since my hands are there trying to pull out a leaf or stool that he is supposed to come to the front and try to take a "feeder" out of them lol. This has now transitioned to if I even walk up to the enclosure he comes to the front and gives me his treat face. We have now moved to him using my hand to get farther out to the feeder. He holds on a little longer each time. Without being fearful. I love this boy so much.

While he is shy and fearful of coming out he has soooooo much personality and he is my little comedian.

My huge baby boy. 133 grams and 15.5 inches long. He loves to explore my apartment when he isn’t lounging in his massive cage or crawling all over me. Still a mamas boy but less apprehensive of his very tall father. Occasionally moody but overall very relaxed. 10/10 good boy.
