I live in Florida and occasionally toss in a wild cought lizard for my chams.
It's just kind of odd to me that they refuse to eat even though their survival absolutely depended on it!![]()
What species of snakes are you having a problem jumpstarting to feed? I know a few 'tricks' that might work, depending on the species of snake.

Feeding ANYTHING that society considers a pet will always be controversial. And being resourceful, especially in an instance of death of an object that is cared for. Most would not consider crickets a pet, thought I die alittle each time I see one crawl up and get CHOMPED on, I can even notice their antennas moving and slowly stop. Truth is you have to be really hardened to feed one pet to another. I know I couldn't do it, though I would be out of my place if I were to tell another that they are wrong for doing so.
So far one corn fed to a veiled and one milk to a paradalis. I'll say this, they wasted no time! The panther even raced to the floor to get his brightly colored treat.
