Having problems finding ficus and pothos plants?

I'm having issues finding these two plants. I've gone to every garden place: walmart, ace hardware (they have a greenery), plant nursery, and all of them say they're seasonal. When I ask -when- they will be arriving, they tell me they don't know. When is a good time to go shopping for ficus or pothos?

I have the same problem! I check walmart, home depot, lowes, Fry's, it's ridiculous.

I think you could order them online.

Just recently all our walmarts got in their spring plants, which include pothos, ficus, and the scheffelera. It might be a couple weeks before you'll see them there. I bought 12 hanging pothos pots today and I felt ridiculous leaving the store with all of them in my cart. I freakin ran to my car while laughing my ass off to avoid the looks people were giving me with all those plants!:D

I walked home with a 24" braided Pachria the other day from Wallyworld. You couldn't see me for the plant.... It was like a plant with legs and nice shoes was walking down the street.

PACHIRA ARE GOOD?!?!?! THERE WERE LIKE 100 AT HOME DEPOT - AGHHHH!!!!!!!!! AGGGHHHHHH!! AGHHAGHAGHAGHGAH!!! *screams*

Okay sorry about that, but now I'm mad.

I am not 100%... But aren't Pachira also known as "Money Trees", which I always heard were toxic to chams?

Oh... This is not for my cham. This was just for my living room. And yes they are also known as (sometimes Braided) Money Trees.

I was just at a Home Depot down here in SoCal this past Friday. They had pots and pots in stock of both plants...

OK.. when shopping at lowes * at least in arizona* they restock the the tropical plant section every tuesday, at about 3:00 or so.. depending on when you get there, if you manage to catch the people doing the nursery deliveries you can get them to bring you something next tuesday, or bring extra.

Just an update on Tropicals- Home Depot has a special on Ficus this week, from 2ft - 5ft. They were $7-10 here in California. Lots of potos in stock.

I just cheked LLL Reptile, one of our sponsors. website, they have ficus. Go to LLLReptile.com or click on the link at the top of the forum page. Hope this helps.

Kansas sucks?? You just make my day, Montana actually has something that you can't get in another location!!! I always think this is the end of the world.

My lowes in Texas has like 1000 of hanging pothos plants I purchased some this weekend lol, you should start seeing them soon
