I was misting my cham outside on his plant. I had turned around to put the mister down and before i could react,he had shot at a bug that had landed on a leaf in front of him:eek: It looked like a wasp, but it wasnt yellow and black,i dont think it had a stinger. I only know this because i noticed more flying around so i took him inside. What should i do?

You positive? I just dont want it to have pesticides on it or anything. And the fact that its an unknown bug really scares me!

For the most part I don't think there is much you can do other than what you did already. If you are really worried keep a careful eye on him for the next 24 hours and make sure to keep him hydrated as normal.

He should be fine....:D

I agree that he should be fine also. My two adults have really wide screen outside cages. There are a lot of bugs that can fit through the cage and Im sure if they can catch them they eat them. I have noticed both of them chomping away several times and wondering what they just ate. I have yet to have a problem but I do still worry.

Thanks alot guys:D I was like OMG OMG OMG OMG i kept on slappin my face and my neighbors were like what the hell lol. I made sure to mist him extra though, but not too much.

Yeah, I was going to actually start a similar thread. Mine hasn't EATEN any scary bugs yet, but I caught my man trying to shove a big gross black bug in our cham's cage today and stopped him right before he opened the door. What are the chances something bad could happen???

One time when i was giving him a shower,i saw a slug start to crawl out of the soil...i saw as soon as he did and i moved my hand right in front of it:eek: before he got it,boy was i lucky! Then it happened again but i made sure he didnt get that one too. The slug mustve gone into the plant while it was outside.
