He shot me with his tongue

Trogdor aggression level has reached orange today.

I need to take him out to clean up some poop i couldn't get to without removing some furniture. I did the whole "look at this hand while i pick you up with the other hand" move and it worked WOOHOO! Then he bit my finger and left saliva and teeth marks... then he ran up my shoulder, my girlfriend came into the room so he got closer to my neck. Then all of a sudden I started hearing him hissing into my ear then SMACK!! I felt cham tongue slap my ear lobe.

After that I quickly finished cleaning and put him back by leaning my shoulder over to his enclosure then directing him in.

What am I gonna do with this guy?!?

Trixxi did that the first time my wee boy held her (she zapped him on the side of the face, nearly gave him a heart attack):D she's gone to aim at me a few times too (mainly at the face/eyes)i think because of the eye movements!!

Every first approach (handling) with Homer, is now via a stick, otherwise he's likely to consider my hand another male (god knows why, not green or scaley)/threat!
After he's on the stick it's a different matter and he's relaxed and freindly.
Im assuming a rather short memory LOl
Never been 'Shot' though!
:)

Amy has got my hand and finger a few times. It feels like a sucker when it hits, and it leaves a sticky residue behind!:D Eww!

Do you have an ear ring? My bearded dragon used to lay on my stomach all the time until he decided to launch at my ear.

That reminds me of something- when Yoda was catching a fly but missed it and when his tongue was going back to his mouth:

This is all funny. I've never heard of anyone getting zapped by cham tongue on purpose. My little rudis have only done that when trying to get food out of my hand. But then again rudis seem to have no aggressiveness, I've never even been hissed at. (Well, neonates do, that's just adorable :D)

My guy 'kissed' me one time - tongue on the lips. Guess my tongue looked like something nice to chew while I was talking to him...I can only say this - cold and sticky!

My female has tried various times to 'catch' the moles and other discolourations on both me and my husband's skin. (She's not being starved!):D

Yeah i bet, I've been hit in the eye by a bee that flew into my car window while driving, i would guess the velocity of a cham tongue is probably similar to that.
