He suddenly hates me!

Well, my grouch of a man decided he liked me today. He's never as pretty when he's locked up in that cage! Look at my beautiful boy :)

Laura, he is a really lovely veiled.:D

Be patient with him, he may never be as chilled and relaxed with you as he was when he was smaller, but you WILL develop a relationship with him - take it from me!! My Ziggy is now 13 months and whilst he can be as grumpy and irritable as they come, when he is feeling that way out, there are days when I open the cage and offer my hand and he willingly walks out onto it for a spot of free ranging. I let him set the pace though, which I think it why he is more chilled these days. If he hisses and lunges at me when I open the door (which sadly happens more often than not!) then I leave him alone.... but it is a real joy when he want to come out onto my hand and I spend the day with a big smile on my face!!!

He's lookin good -=)

Glad to see he's cooperating again. Gotta love those mood swings.

Thanks you guys :D he has been okay for these last few days. Right after I took those pictures he started shedding actually, so maybe that's why he was being such a butt. I don't know, I'm just happy that he will come out every once in a while :)

wear a tan sweater.

Honestly the first and sometimes only thing my 14m male veiled will see is what color(s) I'm wearing. If I wear nail polish or jewelry or anything red, orange, black, or anything brightly colored/sparkly (he hates all of these...!) it seriously freaks him out, so try to think neutral and light. Hope this helps!
