Chams grow at different rates. He should be in a small reptibreeze cage. That way he can catch his prey easier

i cup feed him so i see him eat atleast 15 crickets a day.. its a small cage too... does he look healthy for the most part? also can you tell if its male or female?

From the first pic my guess would be a female but a better pic from the side with the tail strait out would be best to determine the sex. Also what sized crickets are you feeding?

ill try too get a better pic today... and im currently feeding him 1/8 crickets... i think its time too go too 1/4... im gonna pick up some wax/meal worms today and hopefully those will get his weight up

Not necessarily true. I start all my chams in 4x2's and they have no problem finding food.

I agree with Tay and A. A smaller cage for young chameleons would be more ideal for growth. In a 4x2 you can argue all you want but if the animal is not container fed and you throw in 24 crickets in a well planted 4x2 the animal is not going to find all of them. Sure its not guaranteed the young one will find all of them in a much smaller cage but i bet the 2.5 month old will reach/find more before they have the chance to hide in a smaller cage.

From the distant pictures its appears to be a female.

Dont look at the nutritional charts for bugs with high fat content. A animal will gain weight just as fast on crickets or dubia. Getting your animals intake consistent will be key.
