Hello I'm not completely new to keeping chameleons however it was a long time ago and I saw a beautiful male veiled at the local pet store that sparked my interest again, however I do have some concern with the set up I currently have. I have the reptibreeze 4x2 enclosure adorned with right now a large schefflera (pothos and a ficus in the future weather permitting) but I can't get the temperature up to the desired range. I have a 150 watt red light in a dome fixture but the basking temp is 86 while the ambient temp is 72. Anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps it because it's a red bulb? I also have a uvb fixture as well.
