Hello from London, England.

Ahh, health problems do tend to get in the way, I can sympathise with that, my friend grew up in Camden and is now a BBC dj, he did a rap video about Camden, check out" a guided tour of Camden" by Charlie Sloth on YouTube, he's a funny guy

Good video. PC World not been there a while. How's the beasts?

Getting there slowly, she is bigger than he is so im waiting for him to catch up, I installed my new super rain 2 mister this morning which worked for about 15 secs then started blowing fuses! Guess I'm gonna have to leave the basking light of this week or I'll cook em, the ambient is about 22 at the moment outside the tank and it's cooking inside and kills the humidity within a couple of hours, how's your new aggressor?

He's fine. But made a rookie mistake yesterday. Was cleaning out Freya's viv yesterday afternoon and left the door open, half hour tops. Not even that. Went back in and she was gone. I'm on the 2nd floor and have a balcony with loads of plants but she'd have had to climb across the chest of drawers and the wardrobe to get to the doors so I though nah. But I closed doors and windows. Emptied out the bedroom, hunted high and low and nada. Went to bed, gutted, thinking if she got out on the balcony, game over. Was up this morning looking in the flat when my neighbour knocked. Scaffolders putting up scaffold to fix her balcony found my little girl in the grass in the middle of the courtyard 2 floors below. I read in all my research that they move too slowly to be great escapers. Well that's just bollicks :). But thanks god I got her back, thirsty but safe.

That's funny! Apparently they suck in loads of air to puff up like a balloon before kamikaze jumps to soften the landing, what type of viv's do you have them in? I've started to have to leave the basking light off as it's so hot

Never read that re sucking in air. Just assumed she climbed down. Got them in reptibreeze mesh vivs.

Still settling in I suppose as it's only week 3, got to move the boy into his new viv but he displays at me and does a runner whenever I go near him so I'm wondering on the best way to handle him, scoop him into a little plastic box seems.favourite but any suggestions welcome :)

To be honest I think quickest is the best way. But I'm "taming" Alfred Lucifer but by bit, he still does all the puffing up and changes colour to yellow and red patches (still not mature enough for full colour) but I spend 5 or 10 minutes a day with him in my hands. Let him walk up your hands (moving your hands like a riling walkway thing if you get my drift). He changes colour to this emerald green. Beautiful. And slims down. Plus he's not as bitey. I guess little each day is working. Freya, on the other extreme, practically jumps into my hand now so keen is she to get out exploring. Caught her heading to the balcony door again this morning. Think deffo supervised walks from now on :). You ever get up to London?
