hello guys! name's jay from montreal.
i work at an animal store here named Nature Pet Center. Its a very big place.
I work in the fish dept and sometimes go in the reptile dept to help.
long story short, i was in the reptile dept abt 2 wks ago and somebody came up with a shoebox and a big garbage bag with its equipments and told me he can no longer care for his pet so hes giving it back to the store. To my surprise it was a BIG chameleon! (no idea at that moment what i t was) I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT RIGHT AWAY!!! and i adopted it with no hesitation.
i spent the whole 2 weeks reading books and googling informations about my cham. Now i know its a Meller's Chameleon. Sex unidentified. And i also now know that it needs WAY BIGGER ENCLOSURE than the one i have. Im now in the process of making him an 6x2x2 enclosure.
I found this site tonight! and it looks really helpful. hope to learn from u guys.
Any1 with a meller's experience can that can share some thoughts or 2 to me is ver welcome! thanks! and heres some shots of him/her?
