Help black spot on the head?

Removed the UV-bulb from inside the enclosure, showered her for 10-15 min in lukewarm reverse osmosis water (didn't want to risk any infection i use RO-water for the rainsystem so it's in stock :) )
She didn't like it at all but after the shower the "burn" looks much better on one side it's completely gone (she is shedding) and on the other it looks smaller.

I'll keep you posted on her progress.

From the photo's it looks like you caught it the burn before it was bad, or it was not that bad of a burn. I had my veiled chameleon get a burn on it's casque from the heat lamp. It took a month or so for it to heal, although I did nothing special for care. It left a scar, but yours may not.

By the way, I raised my male veiled utilizing the same reptiglo 10.0 uvb bulb you are usng and never noticed anything bad. From this thread(https://www.chameleonforums.com/repti-sun-v-repti-8383/), it appears that exoterra brand reptiglo bulbs are not as intense as zoomed's reptisun. I think it was wise to move it to the outside of the enclosure though.

Hope things go well for ya!

There is still som old skin (shed) stuck on the casque i will shower her again today for 10-15 min with warm water (RO-water). And hopefully it will get off.
After yesterdays shower the remaining loose shed on one side fell off revealing that the burn is almost gone on that side :)

She really doesn't like the shower trying to do whatever it takes to escape it.

She is looking much better now, one thing i am wondering about is that there is still som old skin on top of the casque? I am showering her but it seems stuck on there but still looks like if you just touch it, it will fall off. Should i leave it as is and just wait or try to gently just touch her there to see if it falls off.

I'm attaching a picture from today, she would be approx. 7-8 months now

just leave it there. the skin looks about to fall off by its own anyway.
there is no need to add extra stress to this guy.

Ok i'l leave it, the new pic is actually on the bad side of the casque it certanly looks much better now but to my horror i discovered a new burn on her leg, don't know how she is able to get them. There is no bulbs inside anymore and she is not able to reach up to the heat lamp anymore as well and still she somehow manages to get burned.
I'm going to take her to the vet this week just to rule out anything other than a burn. Thanks all of you guys/girls for answering me!
