Help finding live plants for cage?

Hey everyone, I have a small screen cage for my 6 month panther and it consists of branches with silk vines/leaves. I really want to have a live plant to increase humidity and retain some of the water misted on to them so the chameleon has plenty to drink.

I found a list of possible non-toxic plants on someones blog and printed it out but I couldn't really find any of the plants on there.

So I'm going to ask you guys what kind of plant I should get and where I would be able to find them. I would really like a vine if possible; I really like those. Or whatever really. I could just use some opinions and ideas. Please be specific on the plant names too I don't want to accidentally buy a toxic subspecies of something someone is recommending.

I have found SPIDER PLANT (Chlorophytum comosum vittatum), UMBRELLA PLANT (Schefflera arboricola), GOLDEN POTHOS (Scindapsus aureus), Regular Pothos, WEEPING FIG also BENJAMINA also FICUS (Ficus benjamina) all at Lowes and Homedepot. They might not have anything really right now though as most places turn their indoor garden area in to xmas tree land. I use all those plants in my enclosures just so you know

i think pothos is a vine that is safe. hibiscus is what my breeder recommended. apparently the veiled chams love the hibiscus flower!

I was just at our Lowe's here in Louisville Ky. and they are having a sale on house plants to make room for Christmas stuff. I picked up some neat plants for $1.00 up to $5.00 a plant. Great deals now if you hurry in. Ruth

I found the easiest to care for were the SPIDER PLANT, UMBRELLA PLANT, & GOLDEN POTHOS for my veiled. I got them all at Home Depot and Wal-Mart. I suggest that you get doubles of whatever you decide on and swap them out once a month so that the others can be washed, repotted, set in direct sunlight to 'air out' and such. They are pretty cheap and can be propagated easily to make more pots.

pothos and schefflera are my favs,,, very easy to keep alive!!!!!

Home Depot and Lowe's have plants between 50-75% off right now, and my local HD has tons of indoor plants available right now (full price). I've always had problems keeping plants alive, but I now have grow lights along with my UVB bulb, so I would recommend doing that if you can.
