help i think my cham is sick

It should click to a whole new frame with the ability to Zoom
Then zoom into area you want to examine closer and move about
the picture if you need.

By this you can see the spur Syn mentioned is actually shedding skin, works well on good clear photos!

She has most likely been reabsorbing them for some reason, For 2 years. Reason for that was never provided laying site?
She is now having difficulty with that. egg binding and infection could be setting in.

Syn, did you try the way to zoom in the attatchments?

I did consider that but as you said clear photos

What can I do about hydration

I'd get rid of the bubblerdish, sitting water breeds bacterial nastys and cleaning poopy water daily is no fun. A dripper will work well provided proper drainage and set up.
We still dont really know anything about your cage, so a pic or two would help.

Most folks find a screen type cage works best for chameleons, both for ventilation and ofcourse drainage (bottom should be screen aswell). Folk use different methods for catching the water from the dripper, trays underneath etc.

If you buy a plastic spray bottle and fine mist the cage plants and/or your cham a few times a day, this simulates rains and encourages them to drink.

She's eating 50 crickets a week? What size crickets? She looks puffed up in the pictures, yet her tail and arms don't look healthy to me. Is she getting enough nutrition?

Look how round the belly is on the frontal pic. Im most assured she is having complications with needing to lay or reabsorb the eggs. She may have been healthier in the past and was more fit to pull off reabsorbtion< But you got to admit reaborption is reallity if not laying for 2 years previously. This time is getting the best of her so far though.

i have another cage its one of those flexarrium round ones that you hang but i havent figured out how to hang the lights for it yet

well one person says get rid of the dirt the other says she needs the dirt to ly eggs she has always had dirt but she has never tryed to lay eggs

it 20 inches deep 20 inches wide and 24 inches high all screen with skiding door lights on top of cage plants all around with rocks on bottom with dirt and a ledge to rest on the side with vines to climb

turn image quality to VGA and take more pics
what kind of UVB light.. linear (tube) or compact (lil bulb)

you need a 18x18x36inche cage

remove the dirt, make an egg bin
do a serch on egg bins

Sorry for the confusion Tal, about the dirt, person/s reccomending dirt, refer to a tub/bucket etc for 'her' to lay eggs in because they beleive your cham may need to lay unfertilsed eggs.
Those saying 'no dirt', refer to it as substrate/flooring which is not nessesary excepting for females IF they are digging alot and appear to be carrying eggs. (see above)

I dont think thats the isue though I may be wrong. I beleive shes got a belly full of largely undigested crickets and may require better basking temperature and increased hydration. I have suggested help regards hydration in a previous post.
