Help?!?! I think my Panther chameleon stuck his penis out????

I was lookin at my male panther cham and he stuck a weird looking thing out his rear and moved it all around and put it back in after a few seconds. It was fleshy lookin and moving around all weird, was this his penis or something else? Is this normal, or should I take him to a vet? He seemed like he was doing it on purpose and it didn't seem to hurt him. I searched but couldn't find anything here or on google. He is about 7 months old and has been very healthy.

Sounds like your boy is on his way to being a man. Watch for white string type stuff left on his trees.

As long as he put it back in then all is well. It is a BIG problem if he cannot get it back in...that is called a proplapse.

I saw people saying it was a problem if it was stuck out but nothing about it goin back in and I got worried. He put it right back in so I guess he's ok.
