I had a container of mealworms from petco in the fridge. the container remained closed but got knocked over. could the mealworms have reproduced in the fridge and little babies have gotten out and now theyre going to be everywhere?

Ughh i hate being me sometimes ^_^ i checked thru the container just now too and there werent any adults. but then convinced myself they where all in the other container i threw away a few weeks ago, both bought months ago. i cant believe they can live this long. thank you thank you =)

I don't keep mine in the fridge. I also feed them all kinds of fruits and vegetables and they eat everything. I do the same with superworms and feed them as I do my crickets. I cannot imagine there being much nutritional value in feeding a worm that lives in that sawdust. Just a thought....

i do that with my crickets. i dont feed mealworms, so they ended up sitting around for a few months in the fridge. i didnt like them, neither did Delirium.
