Help my cham is constapated

what has he eaten? has he been eating? maybe he just isn't 'ready'?

if it's a real issue... like you can feel it and it's been a week or so and hes STILL eating..... then you should fill your sink up with warm water and place you cham in the water. make it so his whole body can be underwater. keep your hand under him so he doesn't sink and drown. make the water WARM though... not HOT bit real warm.

An adult veiled (if that's what it is) can go quite some time without pooping. We've seen stories here of weeks going by before amazing poops were made, so 3 days is not a huge deal.

I would try longer mistings and yes, use warm water (baby bottle test: if you spritz it on your arm and think OW! it's too how). Mist for several minutes or use the shower. Sometimes it seems like they think "okay, here's a good rainstorm to wash this away....POOOP!"

Its a juvie. Hes been feeding it only mealworms.

Okay, well, I'd stop with the meal worms and up the misting with warm water, up to putting it in a warm shower or, if it's easier, a warm bath (not deep! don't make him swim). I'd also suggest natural sunshine. Lots of people have reported that making their babies poop.

Is his stomach large like he needs to go? how big is your enclosure? If its large could it be possible you just haven't found it? I only ask because i was a bit worried if my panther was still pooping well because i couldn't find any for a few days. . then i found his potty spot

warm misting to loosen things up

There's really no need to bath a chameleon. You'll stress him more than you'll help with those trials. Can be be totally normal for a chameleon not to poop for some days, so don't worry and wait. It's a reptile, not a mammal. Digestion needs more time in reptiles, so they won't poop as often as mammals do. You can can assume that passage from stomach to cloaca needs perhaps three days, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on temperature etc.

Whatever u chose to do u need to definetly STOP FEEDING MEALWORMS! They really don't provide much for the Cham and their shell is wayyyy to hard to Cham to digest everyday. Try some wax worms or silk worms they r much better for them.

Feed your cham some hornworms. They have lots of juice and that normally gets them to go. I will also cut up a grape (seedless) into slivers and feed that. Grapes always work for my guysand they love it.
