OK... I know, his first post and he asks what the sex of his cham is...I did a search and there are a thousand sexing posts. So I didn't want to hijack someones thread so I started my own. Here are pictures of my girl?

Thanks for the help

thin legs doesn't show the sex.. All hatchlings/juvies have tiny legs. It looks like a male. According to the markings and the color that is coming in. could you get a tail base shot?

Thanks for all the help... by now on the tarantula forums I would have been flamed for my lack of knowledge and why I'm handling it and even why the bucket in the back is red and not black... not to mention why I'm not using the proper complete Latin name. Really!!!

Thanks again

I was also thinking the coloring is somewhat helpful in determining that he is a male, because the juvie females I've seen just do have the pronounced vertical bars.

i am pretty sure thats a male..im sure some others will chime in..looks male to me tho..just still really hard to be 100 on it..and tarantula forums sounds pretty agressive (from what ive seen, normally more relaxed chill people own chameleons):D

Wow... thanks I was hoping for a boy(not knocking the girls) but really like the colors the males have. of course I'll be looking for a female later.

... I named him Walter Cronkite when I got him about a month ago... I was just guessing he was a male.

I got him from LLL in Escondido Ca and the guy who sold him to me said there is no way to tell what the sex is until it is about 8mo. and the colors start coming out.

Thanks again... not accustomed to not getting beaten up for posting a question... you guy have a good thing here.

And you came here without shaving your arm first??? Really?
Ok, im totally joking!, its my birthday and I get to be a smartass, if just for a moment!.
and don't highjack his thread to respond to me being silly!!
