Hello!
Welcome to Chameleon Forums!

Glad you are here!
;)

That is a male, Im not sure what local, someone else may have an opinion though.

My advice is to not let him play XBOX, as PS3 is a superior system.

EDIT: I think he is 5 months old :)

many thanks i was hoping it would be a male and when can i expect to see good colours from him and if possible with your opinion what local COULD it be i was hoping lots of red or blue HUM what local produces theses colours

Yea definitely male. But the locale is tough to say right now, he still hasn't developed enough color to tell for sure. Wait a few months until he matures more and then we may be able to give you a better guess but right now it's going to be a shot in the dark. Probably in the next month or two you should see a dramatic difference in his colors.

In all likelihood, you probably have an Ambilobe, these are the most popular panthers available. As a second guess, maybe Ambanja.

pure guess here. Looks like Nosy Be to me. Male for sure.

Welcome to the boards:D

these guys are right, I just saw the yellow mouth lol :) EDIT

So I am looking really hard trying to find something that clues me into his local, and I just cant say at all:eek:

My shot in the dark is that he is a cross of multiple locals.

I wish I could give a better guess, but like I said, maybe an experienced breeder who has seen many youngsters of many locals can shed some light.

Ok good, so he is in good hands...

sure is fortune in the bedroom he has

They all grow at different rates:eek: As varied as people.
They never really stop growing is my understanding, but they reach most of their adult size by a year.

so you reckon mines 5-6 months old well i have him at 16 inches he should get a few more on lol and as for the colouration when dose that show signs of nice colour as he dont change at all lol he is just the boaring tan colour as pictured with red spots all over him

Any more peoples opinions on sex and loacels

is there any experenced breeders out there than can give me a 90% clue to what sex and what locales the panther is yeah yeah yeah :):):):):)

16" is pretty long for a 5 month old. I'd guess closer to 8 months. Is he always the color shown in the pic?

Does he ever get "fired up" excited? if so, what colors is he then.

yes i is so far i have only had him 24 hours and upon handling him he stays the same even in the long ride to my house from my friends house he never changed colour is he defo a male

my friend who i got the panther off also said it was about 5 - 6 months old but i thought i was big for its age he always fead it a box of locusts a day with pleanty greens i was hoping for it to be a male as they have better colours but thts the reason i am on hear now looking and doing reaserch can any body tell me for sure if its a male

It is a Male. Just can't tell the Locale.

Where are you from?. I have a feeling you are from Europe. . You guys always seem to have access to cool Locales not avaliable in the states

yes i am from uk and in my pet store they have about 10 locales avaible but its a long drive to get there when will the colours come through for me to see as i am hoping for reds or blues what do you think i hope it wont stay that colour as i have seen many pictures of males and they go lovely colours
