help! - signs of RI?

I have asked questions about this about 2 months ago and i ended up taking my panther Skittles to the vet and they said he was fine. Whats going on is that today after i took him outside to get some real sun when he went back into his cage he had his dripped and he drank some and then raised him head and kinda sneezed twice and kept his head up. He also opened his mouth twice but not in a threatening way. Is this a sign of RI? I have plenty of air flow through my room, i have a window open, a ceiling fan, and a box fan. The humidity levels are usually fine. I actually have video of him "sneezing" and raising his head up i cant seem to import them to my computer.

First, it's a good sign that he's drinking water! For the sneeze, it depends on the way it happened. If he just blew out a little air like a puufff, then that's probably nothing to worry about. If it sounds more like an actual sneeze rather than a puff, and he seems to put his whole body into it, then he could have a respiratory problem. As for the open mouth, it can be a sign of RI, but it can also be a yawn. My suggestion would be to watch him closely, and if the open mouth and sneezing become more frequent or more severe, then head back to vet since there's not much else you can do from home for RI.
Good luck!

thank you. He opened his mouth once more and that was it, he seems to be acting normal now but i will keep en eye on him.

This may sound strange but could it be allergies? He has done this before after I take him back inside.

I suspect he is normal. If they eat a big meal, they often throw their head back with their mouth open. Maybe she drank a lot and over filled her belly.

My juvenile male panther sneezes some times. He's the first I've owned to hear sneeze. I think it can be them trying to clear their nostrils of debris or theirs throat. Matter of fact, he did it today. Just watch for the following; your chameleon isn't constantly sitting with its head tilted back, raspy breathing, excessive saliva, and decrease of appetite will sometimes occur. If it gets bad, you'll know. The breathing is easily heard and noticeable. I've taken 2 chameleons in with RIs. They're not fun. And sometimes they just happen! But, if you catch them early enough, they're easily treated. Just don't prolong it, if you feel it needs to see a vet, go for it!
