My baby veiled keeps shutting her eyes like shes going to sleep but then when I wake her up and get her to move she starts shaking (not the leaf dance) like a shivering when she walks . Shes in the middle of shedding but I am very worried !! Please help !!

Cage Type - Zoo Med Reptibreeze cham Kit (med size)
Lighting - (came with kit) tropical UVB & heat lighting kit. Both on during the day and off at night.
Temperature - 80-85 during day at the top where she basks and lights turned off at night and temp goes down to 65-70 farenheit
Humidity - 60 % humidity, with mistings about every 2 hours
Plants - 2 live pothos and some fake vines and branches
Location - cage is kept in dining room near window

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled female. Im not sure how old but she is the length of my ring finger. Shes small.
Feeding - I have been feeding her only crickets, about 7 a day
Supplements - I will dust them once a week with d3 calcium powder
Watering - I mist her about every 2 hours (every 4 at night)
Fecal Description - brown with white
History - I bought her from Petsmart 2 weeks ago and they couldn't give me any info.
Current Problem - shes currently shedding (I know its normal) but since she started shedding, she became weak and her legs started shaking. Not the "leaf dance" but more of a shivering movement. Her legs aren't bowed or swollen. Here's a pic of her legs

Thanks for filling out the form, IMO the bulbs that come with cham kits arent ideal, linear uvb and a home incandecent bulb is more like it. I feel that your misting too much, misting at night isnt usually needed. Calcium powder without d3 almost every feeding, D3 multivitamin with real vitamin A (such as Reptivite) 2x a month. :);)(y) Maybe some more pics please.

Also at her age she should get more than 7 crickets....also a variety of other feeders are best. Good ones for a young veiled are hornworms...silkworms...black soldier fly larvae...small super worms...all your feeders should be gutloaded.

yeah pretty much everything @lydiadubb said, I'd say, especially at this age, dust with calcium with no d3 every feeding d3/multivitamin once a week on alternating weeks. 10-12 crickets. the linear uvb will do wonders for them. misting at night is unnecessary, and might be keeping her up at night making her more tired in the day. I'd try to make those changes fast and keep a close eye on it. sleeping during the day is a bad sign and if it keeps up it might be good to see a vet. especially coming from petsmart they dont do the best at taking care of chams, and it could be something that started there.
