Chameleon Info:
- Your Chameleon - Jackson Cham, Male, unknown. two days
- Handling - often to take him to a window or just to set him on a prech
- Feeding - Mealies (i am ordering crickets) and butterflies,gut loaded mealies
- Supplements - repticalcium without d3 twice a week.
- Watering - mist his tank up to 5 times a day (my house is dry)not yet to see him drink but im confident.
- Fecal Description - he has brown and white somewhat firm poop. he has not been tested.
- History - came from back water reptiles
- Cage Info:
- Cage Type - reptibreeze screen 2.5 x 2.5 x 3
- Lighting - daylight blue reptile bulb (60 watt) and 13w reptisun 5.0 mini compact fluorescent 12 hr each.
- Temperature - DAY: 74 to 82 NIGHT: 60 to 72
- Humidity - I am ordering a way to measure humidity but i make sure to mist him alot.
- Plants - i am rooting a red hibiscus to put in the middle (it is a great budder)
- Placement - In my room (low traffic) no vents or fans. cage about 4 feet of ground
- Location - montana
Current Problem - Ok he came REALLY tame. In his cage he gets stress colors (browns and teals) but when i hold him he turns light green. he fell asleep on me. he doesent seem stressed. he eats his butterflies and moves around. Im just wondering why he gets those colors in the cage. am i misting to much? please help i want him to live healthy. (sidenote) I have owned 4 leapord geckos before him and a hognose snake. IS MY CHAM (puddle) OKAY?
