Will this T8 18" 5.0 uvb repti glo bulb be enough light for my little Lana? It is about 20 inches from the center of the enclosure. I've attached a photo, its the bulb in the back right corner.

Not to worry, we are here to help make Lana a happy girl. The bulb is the correct king but needs to be outside of the cage, and shining in through screen as UVB does not penetrate glass. Also you will want a basking light. Just a regular household bulb. I buy the fixtures for the basking bulb at home depot or any other cheap hardware store. You will need to monitor temps to make sure she is warm but not over heated. Any more questions just come on back.:)

Laurie, Thanks for the help. I do have a basking bulb for her, it just isn't visible in the photo. The cage I designed and built is actually built into the corner of my room. I lined those two walls with plastic, and the bulb isn't behind the plastic, it is located in the cage. The other two walls are screened. She hasn't ventured anywhere near the bulbs. Is it an absolute necessity to have the bulbs located outside of her enclosure? And I was most concerned with the light providing the proper amount of light she needs. Or is it not close enough for her to absorb the rays? Again, it is 20'' from the center of the enclosure.

The lights have to be outside of the cage so they dont get burned by them.
chams have a fun litle habit of ALWAYS climbing into places they shouldnt be.

definetely up that temp to 85.
what do you supplement with?
feed him?
whats hes housed in? size wise

Not at 20"s..... Your cham should be able to get within 10 inches if not blocked by screen ;) I would hang it from the cieling Keep the height enough so you know she cant climb onto it. As long as it doesnt get wet it will be fine. You could also look into a 75 watt Sun Force bulb from Big Apple. Set it up free Range stye
