herpmist vs. pro-mist systems

how do you deal with water run off? and dont you need to warm the water?
with flow rates as low as 1/2 fluid oz per minute and runtimes as low as one minute, there is very little run off in a well thought out system and well furnished cage, water can be heated by simply placing resevoir on a piece of flex watt or small under tank heat mat

I think the flow rate might be a bit higher. Either way, a misting cycle should last at least 10 minutes to get your chameleon drinking. Longer misting also gives your chameleon a chance to clean out it's eyes and even 'shower'. I have seen my veileds and Melleri walk over to the nozzle and just sit in front of it.

SO having a good drainage system is good. If you have an auto-misting device, drainage is needed. Why buy a system that cost you about 200 dollars to only mist little spritz a couple of times a day? Are we that lazy america? :p
