Hi everyone. I'm Tiffany, and I'm new to the forums. Well, I've browsed here and there over the past few years but just decided to make an account in the past week since I will finally be getting my first chameleon soon. There is a ton of great information on here and I'm really looking forward to seeing and reading about everyone's chams as well as sharing some of my own pictures and experiences. I have my cage set up (it's taken a few weeks but I'm finally good to go), just waiting for my baby veiled cham to get here *hopefully* sometime today. The wait is absolutely killing me, so I figured I'd try to kill some time and take my mind off of it by finally making a post. It's not really helping too much, just making me more anxious :) Any tips or suggestions are more than welcome. I'll try to get a few pics up of my enclosure over on that thread as well.

Welcome to the forums-
Hopefully your not waiting in the Northeast- lovely weather we're having here - there most likely will be quite a few members day time who would be out and about-
The waiting is a killer -

jannb, thanks so much for the welcome! I have had your blog bookmarked for the past few weeks :) it was one of my main go-to's when getting everything ready for my little man! so much great information there!

kplatvoet, I can only imagine haha I'm in the southeast, it's been a bit chilly but nothing compared to up there I'm sure. I'm on the Georgia coast, just across the Florida border and I ordered my guy from flchams earlier this week. Mike said shipping was a little delayed because of the nasty winter everyone's been having, but I'm pretty sure he put out a shipment last night!

I just got one (my flapneck) from FLChams the end of last month - came in safe and sound and very healthy without a care about the weather at all today-
Good luck with yours -
Mine was looking for a drink and ate right away the first day - second day more shy and less hungry but since then has been coming around nicely -

Thank you! Have you posted pics of your flapneck? I'm sure it's adorable! Glad to hear it arrived well and healthy. I'll make sure to have some food and water waiting for when my guy arrives tomorrow :)
